Not only are Life Groups the way we make a big church feel small, they are the number one way we disciple people. Life Groups create an environment for believers to challenge and encourage one another in their faith. You’ll find a place of support and laughter from a group of people who genuinely care and love you through all seasons of life.
What is baptism?
The Bible says that water baptism is the first step of obedience after salvation! Each and every Sunday is an opportunity to get baptized! Just bring a towel and a change of clothes, invite your friends and family and celebrate your walk with Christ by taking this important step.
Start Serving
A huge change happens in the life of a believer when they begin to take part in the ministry happening around them! At James River, the volunteers make every Sunday, Wednesday and special event all that it can be with their talents and gifts. You can learn more about getting involved in an area that interests you at Grow Track.
Become a Church Member
After receiving Christ, and being baptized in water, you can become a church member after completing Grow Track. Being a member of James River is simply uniting with the church family to share, support and serve our community and local church.
Request Prayer
